What this app does
The purpose of this application is: VroomOS is car rental management software. It lets car rental companies and fleet operators run their rental business in one place: vehicles, bookings, customers, payments and deposits, pickup and return workflows, inspections, rental documents, and staff team access on web and mobile.
Staff sign in to VroomOS (including with Google) to use those tools. Customers can also sign in with Google on a rental company’s public VroomOS website to book a car and manage their reservations. VroomOS can send transactional company email (such as booking confirmations) when an organization owner or admin connects Google in Company Email settings.

Why VroomOS uses Google
When you choose Sign in with Google, VroomOS connects to your Google account so you can authenticate securely. That includes:
- Staff: owners, admins, and team members signing in to the VroomOS workspace to run the rental business
- Customers: renters signing in on a company’s public VroomOS website (storefront) to continue a booking, save their profile, and view reservations
VroomOS may receive basic profile information and email address from Google to:
- Sign you in to VroomOS (staff workspace or customer website)
- Create or match your VroomOS account to your Google email
- Show your name/email in the product (staff team access, or the customer account on that company’s site)
- Send account-related messages when needed (security, booking updates, support)
When an organization owner or admin chooses Connect with Google for Company Email, VroomOS requests Gmail send access only to send transactional mail they start in VroomOS (for example booking confirmations). VroomOS does not read the inbox.
